An extremely fine and rare Swiss/French platinum, diamond, onyx, jade and enamel lapel watch made by Verger Frères, circa 1924. Retailed by Charlton & Co. The rectangular manual winding nickel movement by Vacheron & Constantin with a lever escapement and 18 jewels. Silver dial with Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track and fine hands. The front of the case with a red lacquer bezel, the reverse features a platinum reserve set with diamonds, emeralds and onyx, the pattern running through the three pieces attached via a gold cord, all with black lacquer accents. Dial signed Charlton & Co, case signed Verger Frères, movement signed Vacheron & Constantin.
