A Swiss gilt, enamel and diamond set scarab form watch, circa 1900. Oval gilt lever movement. Concealed white enamel dial with Roman numerals. Beetle form case, hinged wings with translucent red enamel over an engine turned ground highlighted with diamonds and black enamel, the tips of the wings revealed with translucent white and blue enamel, chased head with ruby set eyes, reverse realistically chased and engraved.
