An English lever with silver and gold dial in a silver open faced case, hallmarked London circa 1874. Full plate gilt key wind fusee movement with dust cover. Harrison’s maintaining power. Engraved cock with garnet end stone, blue steel Bosley regulator, plain three arm steel balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. English table roller lever escapement. Engine turned silver dial with applied gold Roman numerals and decoration in the center. Subsidiary seconds and blue steel hands. Engine turned silver open faced case with ribbed middle, vacant shield shaped cartouche and garter on the back. Maker’s mark ‘EW’ and number corresponding to that on the movement.
