A Swiss silver hunting cased quarter repeating lever pocket watch with a concealed erotic scene, circa 1885. Nickelled three-quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel, five armed stars above the plate to actuate the automaton, plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring, club foot lever escapement, slide quarter repeating on two gongs. False cuvette opens to reveal the polychrome enamel erotic scene of three figures above a silver ground decorated with a blue enamel lattice, the polychrome enamel figures engaged in an amorous encounter spring to life when the repeat mechanism is activated. Engraved silver dial with Roman numerals, applied gilt decoration to the centre, subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands. Profusely engraved case, the front cover with a vacant shield-shaped cartouche below the depiction of a lion, silver slide in the band.
