A Franch skeletonized Louis XV verge watch with gold case made circa 1770. The open faced case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat pink gold is glazed and has jewels on both sides, has an opening knob set with a diamond and a back lid which provides a view to the skeletonized movement. The beautiful white enamel Louis XV dial has Arabic five minute numerals, Roman hour numerals and pink gold hands. The movement has a verge escapement.
