A fine Swiss 18 carat gold quarter repeating pocket watch with a 9 carat gold fancy-link long chain, circa 1810. An Empire, engine-turned case with polished borders, reeded band. Gilt brass cuvette hinged to the movement ring. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute track, winding aperture at 2 and blued steel Breguet hands. Gilt brass movement, verge escapement, plain three-arm balance, flat balance spring, continental balance clock, index regulator with silvered scale, repeating on gongs activated by depressing the pendant. Case numbered.
