A Swiss 18k yellow gold, hunting cased, keyless minute repeating pocket watch, circa 1872. Accompanied by a copy of the Patek Philippe registers confirming the sale to Rodanet. A massive, polished case, gold-hinged cuvette engraved with the Rodanet signature. White enamel dial, with Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and blued steel spade hands. Nickel-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 32 jewels, counterpoised, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed.
