A charming Swiss 18 carat yellow gold and enamel hunting cased keyless dress watch, circa 1870. An entirely engraved case with floral patterns, the front cover is centred by a multicoloured enamel floral bouquet. The back with an enamel bouquet centred by a cartouche engraved: Rettie to Mattie. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and blued steel Breguet hands. Frosted gilt movement, nine jewels, cylinder escapement, wolf’s tooth winding, three arm balance with blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Cuvette signed.
