An attractive gold and enamel dress watch, made by Eduard Jakob Gübelin in Lucerne, Switzerland, circa 1920. The numbered open faced case of this watch was crafted from 14 carat gold has a band, a pendant and a bow with black enamel inlays and the monogram on the back lid. The silvered dial has gold Breguet hour numerals and gilt Art Déco hands. The numbered, possibly Patek, Philippe movement, has 19 jewels, is adjusted in six positions and has Geneva striping decoration.
Case, dial, and movement are signed.
