A rare gold pocket watch with Jones caliber type B movement made by the International Watch Company in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, circa 1875. The case of this watch was crafted from 14 carat gold and features an engraved back lid with an empty cartouche in the center. The enamel dial features an outer minutes and hour track with Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and fine Breguet steel hands. The numbered caliber Jones type B movement in a rare version is equipped with a lever escapement and screwed chatons.
The dial and movement are signed.
