A rare Swiss gold hunting-cased IWC watch in chronometer quality, circa 1918. This exquisite timepiece features an 18K gold hunting case with a distinguished dome marked CHRONOMETRE. It is identified by the case numbered  and movement numbered. The watch showcases a highly sought-after movement quality known as Ankerchronometer, adorned with Geneva stripes and a fine adjusting device. Its silvered dial displays luminous Arabic radial hours, an outer minutes track, a subsidiary dial for the seconds, and elegant Breguet hands. This watch is in excellent working order, with only minor signs of wear on the case. It comes accompanied by an IWC service case.
