A Swiss 18 carat gold open faced keyless pocket watch made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1918. Sold on December 17th, 1919. The Swiss moustache lever movement with a cut and compensated bimetallic balance, and wolf’s tooth winding. White enamel dial with bold Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, a dot for every five minutes, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel spade hands. A polished case. Dial signed, case and movement signed and numbered, cuvette numbered, movement and cuvette with matching numbers. Comes with the original fitted box and an Extract from the Archives.
