A Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1918. Sold May 12th, 1920. The movement with a Swiss moustache lever escapement, cut and compensated bimetallic balance, and wolf’s tooth winding. White enamel dial with bold Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel Breguet hands. An engine turned hinged case. Dial signed, case and cuvette numbered, movement signed and numbered, movement and cuvette with matching numbers. Comes with a fitted presentation box and an Extract from the Archives.
