An elegant Swiss 18K yellow gold keyless lapel watch, circa 1894. With an 18K yellow gold bow-shaped brooch decorated with 45 pearls engraved: To Annie from Jacob 1894. A solid, polished case, case back pave-set with pearls, bezel set with 44 pearls, engraved gold cuvette. White enamel dial with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with five-minute red Arabic markers and gold Louis XV hands. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Case and movement signed, dial and movement signed Spaulding & Co. Chicago.
