Gold minute repeating lever watch

A Swiss 18 carat pink gold open faced minute repeating split seconds chronograph pocket watch in the original presentation box made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1894. Retailed by Bailey, Banks and Biddle in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. This watch comes with a heavy plain case. It has a white enamel dial with black Breguet hours, an outer minute track with fifth of a second divisions, outermost gold Arabic five minute numerals, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and pink gold hands. The high grade nickel movement is fitted with a lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel balance spring and an index regulator, the repeating mechanism on gongs is activated by a slide on the band. The dial is signed by the retailer, and the movement by the watchmaker and retailer.
