A rare Swiss 18 carat yellow gold hunting cased chronograph keyless pocket watch made by Longines in Saint-Imier, circa 1920. The front cover of the case is decorated with an Esculape, a coaxial button at 12 o’clock for the start/stop and return to zero function of the chronograph. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with Grand Prix Paris 1900 and various prize medals.

White enamel dial with black Arabic hours, outer minute and fifth of a second track with red Arabic five minute numerals, an outermost red pulsometer scale graduated to 30 pulsations, subsidiary seconds at 9 o’clock, a 30 minute counter at 3 and pink gold spade hands. Rhodium plated movement with Geneva striping decorations, a straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring an an index regulator. Dial, cuvette and movement signed.
