A very fine German 14 carat yellow gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch made by
A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte, circa 1930. A solid, polished case with hinged gold cuvette. Matte gold dial with champlevé Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, an engine turned center and blued steel Breguet hands. The frosted gilt ¾ plate movement with 16 jewels, a calibrated straight line lever escapement, Lange Guillaume type cut bimetallic compensation balance with timing screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, the terminal stud adjustable by a screw and a swan neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
