An unusual Swiss 18 carat gold double dialed key less pocket watch, circa 1910. With a triple date calendar and moon phases. A polished case, white enamel dial on the front with radial Arabic numerals, outer minute track and five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds and central moon phase aperture and gilt Louis XV hands. Hinged matte gilt and silvered calendar dial on the back, with date ring, outer revolving silvered ring for the days of the week and aperture for the months with an indication of their number of days. Single gilt dauphine hand, rhodium plated movement, 17 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bi metallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Movement engraved with a “shooting star” trademark. The dial is signed.
