Gold limited edition pocket watch

A heavy astronomical hunting cased pocket watch from a limited edition series with the original papers and leather presentation box made by the International Watch Company in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, circa 1980. This plain, numbered watch was crafted from 18 carat gold. The white enamel dial has outer Roman hours, an inner minute track with Arabic five minute numerals, three subsidiary dials at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock, respectively indicating the date, months of the year and days of the week, an aperture for the moon phases and moon age at 12 o’clock, and original black hands. The numbered, manual wound caliber has a precision lever escapement, fine adjusting device and finely engraved gilt bridges. The case and dial are signed.
