Avery fine, large Longines men’s watch with minute repeater, made by Longines Francillon S.A. in Saint Imier, Switzerland, circa 1910. This watch features a fine à goutte (waterdrop shape) quality, very solid and almost unused 18 carat gold case with hinges that are still very stiff and a cuvette marker “Longines Repetition a Minutes” The white enamel dial features and outer minute and hour track with Arabic hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold spade style hands. The very fine movement is equipped with a gilt precision lever escapement and a minute repeater.
The dial cuvette and movement are signed.
