A Swiss 18 carat gold open faced quarter repeating key wound pocket watch with duplex escapement, circa 1830. Gilt duplex movement, plain 3 arm balance, bimetallic compensation curb, hammers striking on two gongs, repeat activated through the crown. Gilt cuvette. Gilt guilloché dial, black Roman numeral hour markers, black outer minute markers, blued steel Breguet style hands. Polished hinged, coin edge band. Signed case.
