Large lépine watch with enamel painting

An unusually large Bagnolet Lépine watch with enamel painting, probably made in Switzerland, circa 1830. This watch features a super flat 18 carat gold case with a fine coined band and a large, elaborate oval painting on the back lid. The engine turned gold dial has Roman hour numerals and gold hands and the movement features an extremely thin Bagnolet cylinder escapement with female winding.
