–
A fine Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced pocket watch, circa 1910. It has a mechanical crown winding movement with a lever escapement. The white enamel dial shows black Roman numerals for the hours, a secondary inner 13–24 hour scale in red Arabic numerals, an outer minute track with Arabic five minute numerals (5 to 60), a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and delicate hands. The timepiece is housed in a round 18 carat solid rose gold open faced case. The reverse back cover is elaborately decorated with hand engraved floral and foliate scrollwork. It has a fluted winding crown with a pinset hand adjuster at 11 o’clock, a suspension bow, and a solid 18 carat gold inner protective cuvette.
