A rare Swiss 18K gold and champleve enamel cabriolet pendant watch, circa 1835. With a similarly decorated gold and enamel chain and seal-top key. Outer: foliate chased case, decorated with multicoloured flowers on a black background. Inner: the back cover is decorated en suite with the outer case, engine-turned bezel and border and a hinged gold cuvette. Matte silver dial, sunray engine-turned with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions and gold Breguet hands. A frosted gilt movement, Lepine calibre, jewelled cylinder escapement, three-arm flat-rim balance, blued steel flat balance spring, and an index regulator.
