A very fine and heavy Swiss 18 carat gold double sided hunting cased lever pocket watch with a full calendar in French, circa 1880. 2/3 Plate movement with a gold screw compensation balance. White enamel dials on both sides, the one on the front with Roman hours, outer minute divisions, Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and spade & whip hands, signed Double Face, the back shows two subsidiary dials indicating the days of the week and months and outer numerals for the date. A plain case. Case numbered, the inside of the back cover inscribed.
