A fine French, 18K gold and enamel lady’s pendant watch, circa 1780. The bezel is decorated with blue champleve enamel leaves, the back overlaid with golden translucent guilloche enamel, white enamel pearls on the border and the centre, outer border to match the bezel. White enamel dial, Arabic numerals, outer minute track, winding aperture at 2. Gold fleur-de-lys hands. A hinged, gilt brass, full plate movement with turned pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, continental cock with polished steel endplate, silvered regulation dial. Movement signed, case numbered 3015 and punched IPBN on the pendant.
