A fine and rare Swiss, oval, gold and enamel key wind pendant watch, circa 1830.
Made for the Chinese market. An oval, polished, stepped bezel and outer reverse to a plain centre, sprung cuvette. Off set white enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute and quarters, prominent scene of a young couple under mistletoe near a fountain with cupid looking on holding a white dove. Gilt hands. Oval, gilt movement, standing barrel with open bridges, cylinder escapement, plain three arm balance, flat hairspring, index regulator. Dial and cuvette signed.
