A fine Swiss 18 carat pink gold open faced five minute repeating lever gentleman’s pocket watch, circa 1896. Signed and numbered rhodium plated bridge movement with Geneva striping decoration, two hammers, two gongs, a gold chatoned center wheel, gold screw compensation balance and counterpoised lever. Signed gilt dial with Arabic hour numerals, outer minute divisions, sunk auxiliary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued spade hands. The signed and numbered polished case has an inlaid enamel monogram on the back, a gold cuvette, slide for the repeating mechanism and pusher with a red ornamental stone.
