A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased anker chronometer, circa 1880. Bridge movement, an ébauche by Piguet Frères, a piston tooth lever escapement and gold screw compensation balance. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and moon hands. An engine turned case with maker’s mark FDB. Dial signed, case numbered, movement signed and numbered.
