Gold watch with a champagne dial

A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced keyless pocket watch made by Ulysse Nardin, in Le Locle & Geneva, circa 1930. The case back is polished, gilded brass cuvette engraved in fine cut with the mention: Maurice Jaquet/1919-1949/La Maison Dubied/reconnaissante. The case is made by E. & C. Nardin, La Chaux-de-Fonds. Champagne colour metallic enamel dial, with suspended Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 and blued steel Breguet hands. A gilded brass movement, going barrel, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance with poising screws and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, polished steel index regulator with special swanneck spring and micrometric screw. Signature on the dial, case and movement.
