A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced precision pocket watch made by Ulysse Nardin in Le Locle and Genève, double signed by retailer Türler in Bern, circa 1930. This watch features a chronometer quality white rhodium plated mechanical movement with a high grade lever escapement and a micrometre fine setting system. It is officially certified as a first class chronometer by the Neuchâtel Astronomical Observatory. The circular white enamel dial has black Breguet numeral hour markers, an outer minute track, and a sunken subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, paired with gold Breguet style hands. The solid Swiss made 18 carat yellow gold case has a polished circular bassine structure with a smooth caseband, a plain press stud back, and a large fluted winding crown topped with a matching oval bow ring at 12 o’clock.
