Gold hunting cased repeater
–
A Swiss 18 carat pink gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless pocket watch made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1920. Retailed by Tiffany & Co. The watch features a mechanical, jewelled lever movement. It has a white enamel dial with radial Breguet style hour numerals, an outer minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial and blued steel spade hands. The case is polished with a cuvette and a hinged back, embossed with a lion monogram on both sides. The maker has signed the case, the case, dial, and movement bear the retailer’s signature.

The movement is in working condition. The minute repeater sounds clear and has a nice tone. The crystal shows some light wear in places. The dial has minor surface wear and a hairline crack at 7 o’clock. The case shows visible signs of wear throughout. It has some minor polishing marks, and the engraving and hallmarks appear slightly worn. However, the hinges and bow are in very good original condition and show no signs of restoration. The hinges are a bit loose.
