A German 14 carat yellow gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte, circa 1930. Accompanied by the original guarantee and fitted presentation box. A solid polished case with an engraved coat of arms on the front and a hinged gold cuvette. Two-tone gilt brushed dial with Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel Breguet hands. The frosted gilt ¾ plate movement with 16 jewels, a calibrated straight line lever escapement, Lange Guillaume type cut bimetallic compensation balance with timing screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, the terminal stud adjustable by a screw and swan neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
