A Swiss 18 carat gold open faced key wind pocket watch made by Baume in Geneva, circa 1880. The movement with a cylinder escapement. Engine turned champagne coloured dial with Roman hours numerals, outer dot minute divisions and spade hands. The chased and engraved case back is decorated with flowers and foliage on an engine turned ground, and features a further central cartouche. Dial and movement signed, case and movement with matching numbers. Comes with the original winding key.
