Gold keyless pocket watch

Swiss 18 carat yellow gold keyless open faced pocket watch with chain, manufactured by Movado, circa 1950. The watch features a handwound mechanical movement with lever escapement. The signed silvered dial includes a black painted minute track, gold painted Roman numerals, baton hour markers, straight hands, and a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock. The round gold case has a smooth bezel, fluted crown, oval bezel, and a smooth back with a royal blue enamelled MG monogram. The case, dial, and movement are signed, and the case is numbered. Accompanied by a coffee bean chain (weight: 20 g) and a brown leather pouch.
