Gold quarter repeater by Antoine Boursier

A fine Swiss 18 carat gold open faced quarter repeating key wound pocket watch, circa 1830. The gilt brass movement with a cylinder escapement, repeating the quarter hours on two steel gongs activated by a pull-and-twist piston in the pendant. The case with a reeded band and an engine turned back. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track and original moon hands. Cuvette signed, case and movement numbered.
