A fine Swiss 18 carat gold open faced quarter repeating cylinder pocket watch, circa 1830. This watch features a gilt movement with key winding and cylinder escapement. It has a quarter repeater with push release. The guilloché gold dial displays black Roman numerals and an outer minute ring, complemented by Breguet style blued steel hands. The guilloché 18 carat gold case includes a dust cover made of gilded metal. Inside the lid, there is an engraving of the alliance coat of arms by Muralt/Locher, Zurich. The set comes with a gilded chain and a winding key with a foiled amethyst.
