Gold open faced cylinder watch

A very fine, thin French 20K gold and enamel open faced cylinder lady’s pendant watch, circa 1780. Louis XVI case, the back with an oval painted on enamel medallion with Cupid, a dove, quiver with love arrows and the altar of love in the foreground, a border with green, red and white enamel leaves. White enamel dial, radial Roman hours, outer minute track with Arabic five-minute numerals, winding aperture at 3 and gold Louis XVI hands. A hinged, frosted gilt full plate movement with cylindrical pillars, going barrel, cylinder escapement, brass balance with flat balance spring, continental cock with polished steel endplate, index regulator. Dial and movement signed.
