A Swiss, 18 carat yellow gold open faced key-winding quarter repeating pocket watch, circa 1810.
Gilt movement, calibre 22,5, key wind, cylinder escapement, quarter repeater on two steel gongs by two hammers (activated by depressing the pendant). Gold dial decorated with exquisite engraving around the rim, white enamel cartouches with Arabic numerals for the hours, and Breguet-style hands. The central enamel medallion has a fine polychrome painting of high quality. Round-shaped, 18K gold case.
