The Omega Museum was launched in 1965. 300 examples were made with the double eagle coin, as follows: a simple coin watch; a coin watch with a pendant; and a wristwatch. The double eagle coin was placed in circulation for the first time in 1850. It features the bust of Liberty surrounded by thirteen stars, representing the original states of the Union. This watch is illustrated in Marco Richon’s book page 470.
