Gold hunting cased lever watch
–
A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold full hunter Grand Prix pocket watch made by Longines, circa 1920. This watch has a high grade keyless wind manual movement signed Longines with lever escapement. The white enamel dial shows black Arabic numerals for the hours, an outer minute track, a subsidiary small seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and blued steel cathedral hands. The dial bears a crisp Longines signature beneath the 12 o’clock marker. The timepiece is housed in a three body, 18 carat solid yellow gold full hunter case with a polished hinged protective front cover, a fluted winding crown, and a sturdy round suspension bow. The inner gold cuvette is engraved with the Longines branding, a decorative arched medal display, and the celebratory 7 Grands Prix exhibition prize inscriptions.
–
The watch is accompanied by its original branded pouch printed with Longines 9 Grands Prix and a matching gold telescoping pocket pencil holder.
