A very fine, large Swiss, 18K yellow gold, hunting cased, keyless, dress watch, circa 1919. Sold on July 2, 1926. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. A solid, polished, hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with painted Dauphine numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. A frosted gilt movement, 17 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line moustache lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
