A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced chronograph pocket watch made by Longines, circa 1910. This watch features a hand wound mechanical lever movement with chronograph function. The white enamel dial displays black Breguet numerals for the morning hours, an inner ring of red Arabic numerals for the afternoon hours (13-24), a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, a 30 minute counter at 12 o’clock, an outer scale on the rim, possibly a pulsometer or tachymeter, for the chronograph function, a large blued steel central chronograph seconds hand, and spade hands for the time. The round 18 carat yellow gold smooth case features an open face design and a double gold cuvette.
