A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch, circa 1910. This watch features a mechanical, manually wound movement with a lever escapement. The white enamel dial shows Roman numerals for the hours, applied inner red 13 to 24 Arabic hour markers, an outer minute track with red 5 to 60 Arabic numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and gilt hands. The timepiece is housed in an 18 carat yellow gold case with an engine turned back cover featuring an engraved floral cartouche and an engraved gold cuvette, completed by a fluted winding crown and an oval suspension bow.
