Gold open faced keyless lever watch
–
A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch made by Omega, circa 1910. It has a mechanical manual wind pendulum movement with a lever escapement and a Breguet balance spring. The white enamel dial shows painted black Arabic numerals for the hours, an outer minute track, a subsidiary small seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and gold toned hands. The dial bears a crisp Omega signature and logo beneath the 12 o’clock marker. The timepiece is housed in a three body, 18 carat solid yellow gold open faced case with a polished bezel, a fluted winding crown, and a sturdy round suspension bow. The inner gold cuvette is solid 18 carat yellow gold. The solid yellow gold back cover is intricately engraved with a large personalised interlocking monogram, framed by finely chased foliate scrolls in the Art Nouveau style. The dial, movement, and caseback are fully signed by Omega.
