A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch made by Longines, circa 1910. It has a mechanical crown winding movement with a lever escapement, signed by the maker. The white enamel dial shows black Arabic numerals for the hours, outer red 0 to 23 hour markers, a delicate outer minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and blued steel spade hands. The timepiece is housed in a polished 18 carat solid yellow gold open faced case with a smooth case back, a signed inner gold dust cover, a fluted winding crown, and a sturdy round suspension bow stamped with the French owl hallmark.
