A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch chronometer made by Longines, circa 1910. This watch has a mechanical crown winding movement with a three quarter plate, a lever escapement, and a micrometric adjustment system. The white enamel dial shows black Roman numerals for the hours, with the 12 in red. It has an outer ring of black Arabic numerals for the afternoon hours 13 to 24, with the 24 in red, an outer minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and gold Louis XV style hands. The timepiece is housed in a round three body, 18 carat solid yellow gold open faced case featuring a monogrammed back cover, a hand engraved inscription reading H Limborgh inside, a fluted winding crown, a sturdy round suspension bow, and a gold inner cuvette engraved Longines Grand Prix Paris 1900 Chronomètre.
