A fine 18k yellow gold Swiss, half hunting cased keyless pocket watch, circa 1870. Retailed by A. H. Rodanet & Cie., Paris. An engine-turned, polished case band, case back with blank shield, hinged gold cuvette with inscription. White dial with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel spade hands. A gilt movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring. Case signed by Patek Philippe, cuvette also signed by the retailer.
