Elegant gold lady’s pendant watch

A fine and elegant 18 Carat gold champlevé painted on enamel and rose cut diamond set lady’s hunting cased pendant watch. Made by Diamond & Enamel Flowers Robert Melly & Co. in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1845. Four body and scallop edged case by Giraud with both covers decorated with polychrome champlevé enamel flowers with engraved gold and green enamel leaves, each cover with an applied rose cut diamond flower spray set in silver, chased borders, pendant, bow and a hinged gold cuvette.
Matte silvered dial with radial Roman numerals, engraved flower spray in the centre, the outer border with applied foliage and blued steel Breguet hands. Matte gilt movement with bar calibre, jewelled cylinder escapement, plain three arm gilt balance, blued steel flat balance spring and an index regulator. Cuvette and movement signed.
