A Swiss brass keyless chronometer with 50 hour power reserve made by Longines, circa 1950. The bowl mounted on a gimbal, positioned on a large plate with a mirror. Silver dial with applied gold radial hour indexes, outer minute track, one horological complication, to wit, power reserve indication at 12 o’clock, subsidiary seconds at 6 and leaf hands. Movement with lever escapement, index regulator with swan neck spring and precision regulating device for fast/slow by means of an eccentric snail, 17 jewels, adjusted to three positions. Dial, case and movement are signed.
